Diving utilities for recreational and technical divers
Think of your body like a fizzy drink. At depth, pressure pushes extra nitrogen into you. If you come up too fast, that nitrogen can make bubbles. A slow ascent and safety or deco stops give the nitrogen time to leave safely.
When you dive down, the pressure makes your body absorb more nitrogen from the gas you breathe. The deeper and longer you stay, the more nitrogen your tissues take on.
Decompression is the controlled process of returning to the surface while giving dissolved nitrogen time to leave your body safely.
Ascending too quickly can make nitrogen form bubbles. Planned pauses at specific depths reduce pressure gradually and let your tissues off-gas.
It estimates tissue nitrogen loading and calculates a conservative ascent profile, including the gases and stop times needed for the modelled dive.
Log and review your dives with depth profiles, gas usage, and notes.
